  • These “Patio Style Bird Nest” style of hanging baskets are also handcrafted in the Southern villages of Thailand, and beautifully designed for both form and function.  The natural coconut coir is extra thick coir mat basket has plastic pot insert that provides a sturdy structure for multiple plannings.  

 

  • This thick coir is porous and retains lots of moisture and has been used for ages in Thailand as the best way to nurture seedling orchids and draping floras.  Ideal for small and medium plants, orchids, vines, floras, seedlings, and cuttings that can also be directed rooted in a planter.  In fact, many of our customers claim that this basket has proven irresistible to certain varieties of aviary visitors which then become welcomed additions to their patio gardens.

 

  • The medium basket is approximately 4 inches wide by 8 inch deep and both come with a plastic insert pot to maintain shape (lengths vary slightly, as they are not mass produced). These Thai baskets are popular for both potting soil and air flora.
